The events of October 7th brought immense challenges to Israel, but even in the face of hardship, there are countless reasons for optimism. For this special evening we’ve gathered a diverse group of speakers to share their unique perspectives on Israel’s bright future. 
Hosted by Asaf Sides, Co-Founder and CEO of Leave a Mark, this event will inspire hope and highlight the resilience and innovation driving positive change in Israel and the global Jewish community.

We began our optimistic journey at our first Optimism.il event in NYC, and now we’re continuing to bring our narratives of positivity and optimism back to New York, showcasing how challenges are transformed into opportunities for innovation, growth, groundbreaking technologies, and regional partnerships.

Each speaker will share their unique outlook.

Seven speakers will be given seven minutes each to present their optimistic outlooks. The event will be hosted by Asaf Sides, Co-Founder and CEO of Leave a Mark, a storytelling agency.

Ofri Etta Reiner
Ofri Etta Reiner, a survivor of the Nova massacre and former combat soldier, channels her personal tragedy—including the loss of her brother—into art and speaking. Her message of resilience and post-traumatic growth inspires others with the belief that "Am Israel Chai"—the people of Israel live on, stronger than ever.

Jesse Gadon
Jesse Gadon returned to Israel from the U.S. during the October 7th crisis and brings a powerful personal story of unity across Israel’s political spectrum. He shares his perspective on Israel’s evolving identity, shaped by both global and local experiences.

Or Bokobza
Or Bokobza, Founder and CEO of Veen, embodies the spirit of Israeli innovation. Despite being on the front lines during the October 7th crisis, his startup pushed forward. Or's story highlights the unbreakable drive of Israeli entrepreneurs, even in times of adversity.

Daniel Rosen
As Co-founder and Chairman of Minds and Hearts, Daniel Rosen leads efforts to combat antisemitism and anti-Israel sentiment online. A long-standing pro-Israel advocate, Daniel first co-founded NYU's Torchpac, sparking rallies and media campaigns. His insights have been published widely, including in JNS and The Times of Israel. Since 2005, Daniel has also co-led a successful distribution business.

Asaf Sides
Asaf Sides CEO & Co-Founder at Leave a Mark. Asaf will discuss post-traumatic growth, showing how individuals and communities have transformed the pain of October 7th into a movement of hope and meaningful action, fostering resilience.

Ariel Bem
Ariel Bem Director of Speechwriting for Israel’s Mission to the UN will be the event's host.

Dror Bin
Dror Bin, CEO of the Israeli Innovation Authority, will share his vision for maintaining Israel’s tech leadership, even in challenging times, and how the nation’s spirit of innovation continues to thrive through crises.

Nati Szczupak
Nati Szczupak, Chief Program Officer for the Jewish Agency in North America, will share stories on the remarkable motivation and innovation of today’s Jewish college students in North America. She will discuss how their efforts are revitalizing Jewish peoplehood and uplifting our communities, infusing them with joy and purpos
